I started to play go exactly ten years ago and have huge difficulties to let it go ever since. I have always been a little bit lazy to study it seriously, but I used to go to plenty tournaments and it helped me to progress to 1 dan.

My favorite - and the most successful - discipline is pair go, that enabled me to visit many interesting places and made me want to travel more and more. As well as majority of go players what I like the most about go is the company of interesting and kind people of our "little" go family. That's the reason I keep orbiting around go even though I don't really take the results of my games seriously anymore.

Besides go, traveling and spending time with my friends I enjoy good food and well-deserved rest. I study to be a music teacher and a choirmaster - two occupations that I pursue already.

I started to play Go when I was 7 years old and from that moment I became addicted to it. Now I am EGF 5 dan and top Czech player. Besides Go I studied information technology and I enjoy programming and creating web applications. You may know one of my piece of work - online go pattern search.

Hi, I'm Jan. I play go for about four years mostly for fun. So I don't study much and that's why I'm only 12k. Aside from go I study computer science, enjoy long walks or hanging out with friends in local tea-house. If you're in for super fast blitz go, just ask me for a game. :D

Hi! My name is Tereza Chládková. I was born and lived in a town in Moravia Frýdek-Místek. After finishing high school I moved and currently I live in Prague studying at the University.

I learned about go through my best friend five years ago. First I didn´t like it very much. I don´t remember the reason but fortunately it changed quickly. I decided to go for it. Since then I participated in over 60 go tournaments and reached the rank of 1-kyu.

One of the best things about go are the people who we are playing it with. That is the reason why I am really looking forward to the next year. I hope I will meet and see you all!
